Love this place.

A real home away from home. Robyn is a wonderful owner and is so friendly and goes the extra mile. Have been staying here for 6 years while our daughter was at university and always enjoyed. Location is fantastic right near lots of good restaurants and cafes and easy walk to University .

A kind and thoughtful host

I was pretty desperate for a room close to the hospital as my husband was very ill and Robyn went out of her way to help me. I was also able to leave the car where it did not belong as she could see I was exhausted. Thank you Robyn from Karen

Love this place

I wont stay anywhere else, location is awesome and the friendliness of staff is great. Room are spacious and clean and have all I need. Restaurants are close by and if not, there is always Uber Eats.

Robyn and the team are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean tidy. Sky TV as well as Netflix. Just feels like home. I always stay at this property when availability allows. I unreservedly recommend you consider Alexis when looking at Dunedin.

Well placed to access Dunedin

Would have no hesitation in recommending the Alexis for anyone planning to visit Dunedin. Very comfortable and a short walk to the centre of town for restaurants, shops and local attractions. Owner was friendly, helpful and informative.

I would just like to personally thank you and the girls for a wonderful few nights stay at your motel , from the very warm welcome we received (loved the hug and comments ) to making sure our room was well set up with the extra bits and pieces  I had delivered , the courteousness of the maids when asking if we needed our room serviced and the general nice chat whilst out and about and running into the girls while they were working , this all contributed to one of the best motels we have stayed at and I for one will definitely be coming back to stay there , all the best for the coming year , oh and I think the girls and of course the black and golden 4 legged friends I made all need congratulated on their work. 

Great motel to stay at, so close to town and hospital. Our unit was very clean, modern, Great size, our furry family member also enjoyed her stay. The bed was so comfortable, and enjoyed the spa bath. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again.

My daughter and I stayed a few days at the Alexis for Otago Open Day. It is a great location only a few minutes walk to Uni. and close to many cafes, restaurants even a convenient Dairy right across the street. Robyn and Katrina were super friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need stocked in the little kitchen. The cleaning service was also very efficient and done before lunchtime. Also loved the modern bedspread and pillows!

Great communication and welcome from Katrina. Studio unit was much larger than expected (I forgot to ask, but suspect we were upgraded to a one-bedroom apartment!) Loads of space, very convenient for the places we wanted to go to - and for dinner, with the Lone Star literally across the road 🙂 Being on the main road and in the "student quarter" we expected some noise so were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too bad at all.

Absolutely loved my stay at Alexis Motor Lodge, Robyn was amazing to fit us in at such a busy time. The room was the perfect size, clean and so close to town. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to others!
